Elk River, Orono, Roseau, Goodhue Winners in Girls’ Tournament

For the first time since 2009, the Minnesota State High School Girls Basketball Tournament was won by teams representing public schools in the state. Furthermore, it was the first time since the four-class system was introduced that no consolidated school systems were crowned winners.

Schools representing the cities of Elk River, Orono, Roseau, and Goodhue were champions in the 2017 event.
